Richard Berger is a 2005 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a 2003 graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He spent his final semester of UPenn studying art and art history in Florence, Italy.
In 2006, Mr. Berger founded his art studio in Freehold Borough, New Jersey. Since then he has worked as a commissioned based artist, specializing in portraiture, still life painting, landscapes, and the sacred arts. He lectures often and gives demonstrations on traditional paint making procedures and picture making. His art is featured in many private and public collections.
He is a member of the Monmouth County Arts Council, the Monmouth County Historical Association, and a Founding Member of the Freehold Borough Arts Council.
